For this project Kelly worked with a group of 12 -14 teenagers participating in The Duluth Playhouse's Children's Summer Intensive. Her job was to teach the kids on how to piece different layers of graffiti together to make their set look like it was tagged. In a four week period, the full stage and 10 large 4'x10' panels for in the house were completely tagged. In addition to teaching the kids, Kelly also got to add some small touches to the design. All of the panels that were hung on house left contained a tree and roots that ran through the graffiti. On house right there was a rose and vines. The unique thing about this project was that not only did they have to design and graffiti of the stage but also design a graffiti style of vines covering ruins that was to be illuminated to change location. In this production they used a large black light to illuminate costumes and transform the stage.
